Interest on real estate taxes payments

All, Recently I discovered that our management company is paying the real estate taxes with some delay, like typically 6 months after the due date of the payment. I checked the financial details but I don't see we are paying any interest, while if I go to the nyc real estate taxes, I see some amounts on interests. Is this a common practice? Any way I can check the historical payments with the interests?
