Love it! I'd take it as a pied-a-terre if I were more interested in outdoor space and views [but it's a meh neighborhood]. I wonder if "...co-op studio on top floor, one flight up,..." means that you get off the elevator on the 'top' floor, then have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the apartment?

Yep that is exactly what it means. These are not uncommon. But who cares--there's outdoor space!!
