Design choice in studio apts

Why do most staged studio apts show the bed nearest the wall with windows? Maybe just me but wouldn't it be optimal to place the bed closer to the entry so you can enjoy the view/any natural light while you're awake?

I think the idea is that you can imagine having guests over the apartment without them walking thru your bedroom. Something of a fantasy for a studio, but you can sell the fantasy by moving the bed as far away from entryway & kitchen as possible?

Never would have thought of that but I guess it makes sense (kinda). Still, give me the visual interest and light - even reflected light - of the windowed wall. Maybe get a canopy bed if you don't like making your bed in the morning
