I don't want to share exactly how much I spent, but I worked with an Architectural Digest-level designer and architect, and it took about 18 months to finish."

"I didn't have to worry about anyone else's opinion." and yet "I designed it with the vision of having a family in the future... "
I'm sure potential husbands are just lining up around the block to meet her.
So, in 8 years her 2% mortgage resets, and in 15 years the tax abatement disappears, and she's "confident that if I ever decide to rent or sell my condo, it will offer a strong return". Hmmm.....

So a real estate agent is touting the benefits of home ownership. Wow, that’s pretty shocking.

"I purchased a three-bedroom condo in Williamsburg for $3.25 million with a 30% down payment. My home has 1,700 square feet of interior space and an additional 1,000 square feet of exterior"
"I got a 10-year mortgage at a 2% interest rate, with a monthly payment of about $4,000."
That is very interesting, with interest only at 2%, 70% of the 3.25 million dollars is already about $3800 per month, even with minimal dollars for the property tax in the initial years, adding the maintenance of 1700 sq feet of apartment will put her monthly probably near $5000. I guess in realtor's language, it's still considered about $4000, LOL
Using the interest only loan on the 10 years doesn't give me any indication that she wants to live in this home forever. I think her intention is to do house flipping within the 10 years, LOL.
