Not happening.
They are gonna adjust SALT to lowball $15k with inflation link or $20k max.. or they are gonna expand it higher but then cap it for levels of income which support the apartments we discuss here so.. nothing for us.

In other news rates have started to head even higher again on various economic, inflation, tariff and other worries.

Bessent is talking tomorrow / BOJ decision next week. So all subject to change again.

For all the RE money on the sidelines waiting for rates to fall, it may be another year of 6-7% mortgages.

At some point I'd think people just need to move for lifestyle reasons and/or just get used to 6.x% rates after 2.5 years?
