Discussion about
http://finance.yahoo.com/banking-budgeting/article/105782/How-We-Got-Here-It-Is-Housing-Stupid "So even with perhaps hundreds of billions of tax dollars going to AIG, Fannie and Freddie, one expert said the only real solution to the housing problem is for the correction in housing to finish running its course. "We want home prices to return to normal," said Barry Ritholtz, CEO of Fusion IQ and author of the upcoming book "Bailout Nation." "Until that happens, you can throw as much money at the market as you want at the situation....and it ain't going to make any difference," Ritholtz said"

This is the wrong blog to bring up deflation but what else do you get when a bubble bursts? Just like Lehman had to be pried from Dick Fuld's dead, cold hands. Housing prices will have to be pried from the dead, cold hands of America. NYC is the dead cold hands of America. This is the wrong blog to bring this up. Until Eddie Wilson comes back in February.

"NYC is the dead cold hands of America." -- great new ad slogan; submit it to NYC & Co. for their campaign to lure tourists from Mars!!!!

"Until Eddie Wilson comes back in February."

80sMan, I'm pretty sure he's posting under the nyc10022 alias actually, and so far has toned down his act, thankfully.

I'd welcome Eddie Wilson back sooner -- I don't like people being bullied away by flight-by-night dweebs. But I doubt he'd choose nyc10022 as an alias, what with confessing to live in the County of the Kings and all.
