I am not a broker in the least. I am a young guy looking to purchase something that in a few years will look like a good investment. This area of LIC is right near the bridge and very close to the city. I read somewhere else that Tishman is building directly next to them so I anticipate this area really being something pretty great shortly.

Do they have those deep soaking tubs at Star Tower?

What's up with this story in today's amNY: "Naueating odor lingering in LIC"?

Is LIC's condo market decaying so fast that it's making people sick? Or is it just the usual toxic waste percolating up from the brownfields there? It's a pity either way. Don't know about the deep soaking tubs.

I noticed the prices have increased two days ago. This seems strange if so many other places are dropping their prices. Isn't this strange or is it just me?

Which other places have dropped prices recently? I've heard that Star Tower has had good sales.
