Discussion about 301 East 87th Street #14D
Anyone else find it odd that this most recent price cut still leaves the apartment $40K more expensive than in December '07? Does the owner/agent really think the market is better now than it was then?

They are idiots. This is a typical case of greed outweighing common sense. It was listed too high to begin with (so why they increased twice is beyond me) and now all they can do is continue to drop their ask.

The listing broker was a fool to allow this--everyone knows places that sit on the market for months, especially those with endless price adjustments, generally lose all appeal to potential buyers.

Still way overpriced. Yorkville = no transportation.

Agreed, bramstar. Unless they chop something like $90k to bring it to the mid-600s, I think they'll have a hard time attracting attention.

setevejhx, why so down on the location? 87th and 2nd is a pretty quick walk to the express stop at 86th/lex.
