Does anyone know the average length of time a two bedroom apartment currently is staying on the market?

My realtor told me that 8 weeks was the average now for a two bedroom if it is priced right. Is that correct?

50days in exact, the figure your realtor given was close.

"if it is priced right"

That wasn't the question.

stevejhx- I haven't seen anything priced right. It's actually getting silly watching the inventory pile up.

Average time on market is typically around five months. Miller Samuel -- which provides Manhattan-wide data -- said 146 days in the first quarter, 135 in the second.

I would say anecdotally time on market is lengthening in Q3 -- even when the buyer and the seller agree with each other, getting financing is a little tough.

Thanks Front_porch. This really was a legitimate question hoping for an legitimate answer. I thought 8 weeks seemed a little short, but I don't look at everything. I appreciate your input.
