streakeasy, I would further limit the search to apartments "with and address" and the results are:

We found 8,072 listings with an address
Median price: $1,225,000 Median size: 1,150 ft² Median price per ft²: $1,159

I think that Median price per ft number is a good one to track. The $1,159 is interesting since it was $1,181 a couple days ago and $1,179 in July. Median price per sqft limits most (not all) of mix swings and provides the best picture of where list prices are heading.
