Sale at UPPER EAST SIDE - is this an appealing place?

Discussion about 121 East 88th Street #5C
(Discussing Sale at UPPER EAST SIDE) I'm asking just out of curiosity as someone who owns an apartment in the building. It's a pretty nice and well-run building in a great location, though bare bones (price reflects that, I think). Any comments?

It looks like a great place. Layout is a bit funky (kitchen configuration and w/d in bathroom) but the amenities are good - w/d, window in kitchen, good space.

Considering there's no doorman and given the neighborhood it seems priced about right.
