Why so many units are in contract now?

When I searched for 2beds in chelsea. I found there are so many units in new buildings are in contract now! Looks like it is easy for them to sell those units!

because there are so many new developments from 1-3 years ago that are pending being finished

Can those people still cancel their purchase? If they only put down 5% -10% deposit, would not it be better for them to cancel the purchases? Thanks, Dabulls

I just went to a new building in chelsea yesterday. I can feel the pressure from the sales. It would be a really really hard time for them to sell. Even rich european have their own problems now, who will come to buy?
