That number was per Mark Zandi chief economist at Moody's on CBS news. Let's assume another few trillion has disappeared from the rest of the world's bank and brokerage accounts. Would seem that's likely to crush the appetite for NY real estate prices. All these properties I see asking 1200, 1300, 1400 even close to 2000 per sq ft., It just boggles the mind. Talk about irrational exuberance.
