Discussion about
my coop board asked for 3yrs maintenance at closing 1 year later theyhave been satisfied with the initial issues, and they now want to keep this money until our renovations are complete the original escrow agreement did not call for them to hold my money for any construction work which was covered by a seperate agreement. are they permitted to do this

Please clarify why it is that they initially asked for 3 years maintenance, to which you obviously agreed. Generally, what were the "initial issues"?

what did it say in your contract?
otherwise don't pay maintenance for the next 3 yrs.
