Discussion about
New York state, despite having the highest tax burden of any state, has a $5 billion budget deficit. And the liberal governor, Patterson, intends on raising taxes more. No wonder wealth and jobs are leaving not just NYC but the state as a whole.
Rufus, now that you've been exposed as an across the internet Chicago spam artist with a mild to moderate case of dementia and paranoia, what do you have to say for yourself?
Sizzlack, i'm sorry that facts bother you.
Rufie, have you given thought to why you wanted Romney to be your president . . . is it because you liked his purty silky blowdryjob?
Facts like that you work and live in Chicago? Facts like you say you work in finance yet spend the majority of your day spamming NYC related sites? Does the fact that you are a super creep not bother you at all?
alanhart, is supported Romney because of his intelligence and business experience. I knew that the economy would be the most important issue in this election, so i wanted a conservative nominee who had proven achievements in business, not some community organizer who spent his adult life hanging out with terrorists and extremists.
Sizzlack, wrong again. I don't live in Chicago yet. I have no idea who the other poster on city-data is.
Face it, Cracker Boy -- you were creaming your jeans at the thought of having a prettyboy who was governor of a liberal state like Massachusetts. And, to a lesser extent, you were creaming your jeans at the thought of his being the GOP nominee and/or president.
oh come on Rufus. 'ChicagoFinance' makes the exact same arguments you always make.
1. Projects
2. Garbage
3. Nightlife/Restaurants
4. HighRise Condos
5. Attractive Women
If 'ChicagoFinance' had only made reference to one or two of those things I might have been inclined to believe you. However they make them all in the same freakin paragraph. Nice try though ChicagoRufus.
Sizzlack, those are the complaints that a lot of people have about NYC. i guess you haven't talked to enough people who are not impressed by NYC. you really should get out more; most people in this country have not drank the NYC kool-aid.
Chicago Finance a.k.a. Rufus:
" We have clean streets; you guys have dirty streets with garbage bags on the corners. Chicago has gorgeous Michigan Avenue, lake michigan, lakeshore drive. And areas like river north, streeterville, and gold coast, are full of beautiful townhomes and luxury condos. I mean for christ's sake, manhattan has housing projects in chelsea and lincoln center! LOL! "
"It's interesting that Manhattan, a supposedly wealthy and prestigious place, has so many housing projects. I'm not talking about just the ones in harlem and east harlem but the massive housing projects in prime real estate, like the lower east side next to east river, chelsea, lincoln center, and even upper east side. What's even more shocking is that there's luxury condos right next to these projects! "
"Chicago sent them off to the far south side, where they built decent family homes that they can live in. This is one of the reasons why such a large part of Chicago is clean, safe, and full of luxury condos, upscale restaurants, clubs, bars, and retail.
"In Manhattan, you can go from nice condos to the dangerous projects within a few blocks! I mean, look at the projects near lincoln center on west end avenue, as an example. They've built several luxury condos right next to it. I think this is unacceptable, and NYC needs to strive to do better."
It doesn't take a CSI investigator to figure out it's you ChicagoRufus.
Not drank the NYC kool-aid? So people who chose to live here are what brainwashed? If that's the case you make the Chicago koolaid guy.
It blows my mind that rufus is still trying to pull this crap weeks in. He got caught posting the same spam on multiple boards, then agreeing with himself. And, all of it pretty much proven factually incorrect.
Maybe he's just retarded.
Actually, I'm sorry. Thats mean to retarded people.
I TOTALLY agree with nyc10022 (who is not me).
