No good public schools -if you have kids no option other than private school. Walk around the neighbourhood will give you all the flavour you need-it is not UWS

Looks like it's going to be a nice building, but the immediate neighborhood is just not that nice. That's the trade off for better prices though.

the area is still very much in development ( only for about 1-2 yrs), so it's still very industrial looking. it's also very far to the west, so access to subways is a bit of a walk ( closest 59th col circle).

there's also a discussion on 10 west end ( it's neighboring building) if you're interested.

the building has a much better amenities than 10 west end. but i think that there are much better opportunities in general in other new developments in better locations in the city for the money.
