Discussion about
This UWS apartment, which got "renovated," is suffering from vermin, roaches, and other bugs. This is a HUGE problem in NYC; most of the city's apartments have some form of bedbugs, roaches, vermin, or mice. It truly is a disgusting city, worthy of the third-world. http://curbed.com/archives/2008/10/22/curbedwire_mice_roaches_columbia_students_etc_at_the_greystone_hotel.php#reader_comments
OH MY GOD! An apartment in NYC has a mouse? NO WAY! We better move to Chicago...as bugs and mice simply cannot survive in the arctic tundra.
Not only is rufus a sociologist, food critic, architecture critic, nightlife critic and wannabe city planner, now he is an exterminator?
Sizzlack, everyone knows that this problem is more pervasive in NYC than in any other U.S. city. And what's hilarious is that those people in that building I linked to, were paying $2500/month for a vermin infested studio! There is no doubt that NYC's standards are A LOT lower than Chicago.
Yes Rufus because only someone as stupid as you could think bedbugs only exist in NYC.

"Woman Sues Hotel After Suffering 500 Bed Bug Bites

CHICAGO (CBS) ― Last year, there were reports of serious bed bug infestations in dozens of states. Now, a Chicago woman is suing a hotel for $20 million after waking up one morning with more than 500 bed bug bites."

Dufus, is that you on comment #6, saying New Yorkers are no better than animals? Bet it is...
snoop that is absolutely him. "roach infested apartment" is one of his slogans.
Don't forget about the rats in Chicago that are the size of cats.

NYC has way more rats than Chicago. Please get your facts straight.
uhhhh....no.
{{NYC has way more rats than Chicago. Please get your facts straight.}}
Care to back that up with some hard facts? I'm listening...
Rufus knows... he's a rat trap collector. Its union, but he still can't afford a decent apartment with it.
How sad is rufus' life that he spends THIS much time trying to take down a city he can't afford?
Chicago has so many rats that they have an official Rat Man.
But Cracker Boy is much more into gerbils.
Why don't you count all the rats you see in New York. Then do the same in Chicago. That might be a productive use of your time
You can solicit donations on the Internet "Send Rufus to the subways of New York." "Send Rufus into every apartment building." "Get Rufus a life."
NYC has way more rats than Chicago. Please get your facts straight
That is hysterical. You probably are a wanna be exterminator but they couldn't bond you or whatever is needed to get into people's apartments
Threads like this have been the reason I've all but abandoned these forums. Why does anyone even respond to this poster?
I love how as soon as it was pointed out that Chicago has a huge bedbug problem too Rufus just happens to disappear from the thread he started.
Cracker Boy's brushing his teeth with his revolver.
check it out, rufus posted some negatives on Tribeca on curbed, then has the stupidity to try and point out those comments as "evidence" on Tribeca's decline. Seriously, check it out...

Not only does rufus post anonymously, he then agrees with himself, and then he points to himself as "evidence".
kylewest, couldn't agree more. If I need this kind of "entertainment" I just go to Curbed. I truly wish it would stop here.
i agree with you both. I know its bad to respond, its just gets TOO easy sometimes. He's posting this stuff on like half the threads on the forum (and then he starts more).
I hope I can take my own advice and use the ignore button.
