Discussion about
Hi, I am relocating from europe at my own expense. I plan to get a short term for 2 months, then look for a permanent rental without hurry. What is a good source for short term rental in the upper west side? Thanks

Email me at tils21940@mypacks.net. I have a suggestion that might be helpful but don't want to plaster it on the board.

Suggest you try craigslist.org.

I've gotten a couple of great sublets in the past this way.

you can also try sublet.com they charge a one time fee but you can browse for free. It's perfect for short term rentals. And take my advice, when you are looking for something more permanent DO NOT rent in a co-op building. It is a nightmare. I'm going through the process myself right now and it takes nothing short of two months from the time you find something till you can move in. I'm not exaggerating. The amount of paperwork they want in all co-op is absurd. good luck pyxis

BTW, craigslist.com is free. (Just make sure there isn't a broker representing a property. Typically, it's owners.)

I rented two floorthru apartments in townhouses.

I had good experience with furnishedquarters.com, but was on the pricy side
