Anyone living near proposed City Point development in Downtown Brooklyn...(Toren, Forte, Belltel, Oro, etc.)

Can you appeal to Brownstoner via the top of the home page and go to "submit a tip" and request that they inquire into the fact that construction has been halted over a month at City Point. I asked and he said he would look into it 3 weeks ago. This development is crucial to Downtown Brooklyn and i would love to know why nothing is happening there. Maybe if more of us ask they will make a call to the proper authorities.

did you check on any news developments with owner and financing?

Seeing lots of news about financial troubles of one place rippling into other developers given bank/loan structure. Crains had a thing on how Lehman bankruptcy is halting projects that are like 2 generations removed. Tishman Speyer isn't in any direct trouble, for instance, but they're doing some paring back...
