Discussion about
need help regarding which town is family friendly good schools?
Westfield, Summit and Ridgewood.
i assume this guy meant in the areas mentioned....
I've actually never heard any of 'em mentioned as great districts to be in, but if I had to pick one, likely Hoboken, then Weekawken. Pretty sure most of JC is going to be challenged.
none of them have 'good' schools. Most of the yuppies who live in those cities send their kids to private or parochial schools. Can be nice cities to live in but taxes and car insurance are incredibly high. The burbs have great schools, especially the ones mentioned, also Chatham, Madison, Short Hills.
There are no good schools in any Hudson County town. HOWEVER, there is the McNair Academy in Jersey City, but there is an admission test for that school. If you want good quality public schools, you really have to go to Bergen County. Look at Tenafly.
Thanks
What private / parochial schools are good..as skippy mentioned...I just need to be close to nyc for work...commuting.. My kids go to catholic school in nyc now...
I was looking in williamsburg..but there are no good schools there...I don't know where the people with families are sending their kids if they live there..let me know ....someone
While you're on the subject, how about family life and schools in LIC
i guess no comment is not a good sign...does anyone live in any of these places with children?
