Can anyone advise the best month to search for an apartment rentalin Manhattan or is it pretty much the same throughout the year?

dec/ jan - for best months to search to rent as the market is quiet. u can often negotiate better deals, such as 1 month free, etc.
worst months are summer - as that's when everybody is looking, so u will get the worst deals then.
