(Discussing building at 342 West 56th Street) Any ideas what's wrong with this building? There are so many unit for sale

Iam interesting in 2 or more bedroom appartment in manhattan, ny. $300,000 down. 212-675-3914

I think its part of a bunch of crappy buildings on that block, they are all part of the same coop - not built well to begin with and not well maintained afterwards. There are a lot nicer coops and rentals in the area. I think the financials aren't that great either. For some reason the crappier brokerage firms end up with these apartments. My gut - stay away.

Does anybod have any recent inforation on this building? A lot of units are for sale and I am wondering why? Thank you!
