Discussion about
Anyone know if there is an ACRIS-like online resource for Bergen County? Thanks.
Hi Westie,
I own a house in Bergen County. What exactly is ACRIS? Is that a databse of who owns property and how much they paid for it? If so, here is a site that gives you that information for nearly every county and town in NJ, including Bergen County:
http://tax1.co.monmouth.nj.us/cgi-bin/prc6.cgi?&ms_user=monm&passwd=data&srch_type=0&adv=0&out_type=0&district=0201
the link did not paste well, so copy and paste it into your browser.
Alpine: ACRIS is a database maintained, I believe, by New York City's Department of Buildings on sales and maintenance/violation history of NYC buildings.
Thanks Alpine. As previous poster says, ACRIS is a NYC public records resource that lets you view property records, including deed, mortgages, etc.
Alpine or anyone else--any idea where you can find if a property was purchased with a mortgage? ACRIS shows you all this information, and it also shows you an image of the deed. Thanks.
I do not believe mortgage information is availbale online for Bergen County. Bergen is still a bit behind the times in technology. If your working with a realtor, however, they can provide you with this information since it should be in the MLS.
You can try Property Shark. I think they might have mortgage information, but I'm not 100% sure.
