Discussion about
I have to save the 6% RE agent commission to cut loss. Thinking of selling my condo in LES I bought two years ago with FSBO. Looking for a good attorney. How much would be the attorney fee roughly? How well would he/she work for the owner who sells real estate for the first time with FSBO?
hmm, sounds like a plant
attorneys are generally $1800 - $2500. attorney would not help you sell your property...
What's an attorney have to do with a RE... and the commission? Why don't you use the attorney who you used for the purchase?
What does FSBO have to do with an attorney?
I don't really expect answers... but, I don't get a lot of posts on SE. Many "owners" ask questions as though they've never bought real estate in their lives.
I know a great attorney. She happens to live down on the lower east side. She's worked on my most recent sale and buy. (I had two other attorneys prior and didn't love either.) Mary E. Sheridan (646) 638 8571.

After you have an offer and an agreed upon price, the attorney will take over in order to negotiate the contract with the buyer's attorney. It does not matter if you are a first time FSBO or not a FSBO, it is all the same.
If you're selling FSBO, you have to do all of the work to find the buyer, no attorney is going to do that for you.
Send me a note at 407pas@gmail.com and I will send you the name of an attorney I have used on three occasions and have been happy with.. You'll have to talk to her about the fee.
