Oh, good catch with this one. Very helpful talking about one really significant firm, especially with one of its 3 main offices in Summit, NJ.

Also very helpful talking about the foreigners and lawyers saving us. Because I've seen a lot of people posting exactly how foreigners and lawyers are saving us so it is great that you directly refuted those claims.

Good job also on starting a new discussion topic just to boost your ego.

You still have not refuted the argument that doctors will save us...

I heard that Crane, Poole and Schmidt had serious financial problems too. They had to sell to a Chinese-government owned firm to stay afloat.

VWear... get out of NYC RE and leave to real professionals like us. When my wife's hospital hired a bunch of nurse practitioners... it lasted as long as a lawsuit was filed by "mistreated" cold that turned out to be cancer.... :)

I think if the 50% drop in NYC RE scares you.. either NYC was just a stop in your life/career and you should have rented or you couldn't have afforded the NINJA mortgage in the first case.

VWear did you just out someone on this? Ummmmm Very uncool dude, even if it's a joke.

World of Witchcraft....

Out someone - Steve.... if you actually went to the trouble of finding who this guy/gal was and actually listed it... then totally uncool... unless he was like you BFF and asked you to do it.

Come on VWear, nyc10022 and Stevehjx... it's just one guy with 3 google e-mails, right?

I've spoken to many lawyers these past weeks & their RE deals have died. So, they are effected by the RE market & if their business keeps shrinking, the financial repercussions effect the NYC economy & NY RE.

99 cent stores ain't going belly up, but the expensive joints that will.

Most likely the 99 cent store on 14th b/w 6th and 7th went was a long term low rent tenant which will be replaced by a more upscale retail tenant at a higher rent. We'll wait & see whether the new tenant will succeed or go belly up.

w67thstreet are you like a crazy homeless guy?

I didn't out anyone. Steve Hanley is well known to streeteasy and is out and proud of being Steve Hanley, where he lives now, where he used to live, what his degrees are about, his breasts, his sexual preference, how many times he's had sex in the past several weeks, what the last 25 year old thought of him, the countries he's lived in, his former residences ...................

Please, 14th bet 6 - 7? How much longer do you think the "high end" tanning salon will be there for? They're handing out freebies trying to generate traffic! (Maybe their cr@ppy broadcast music is scaring away customers - who would buy a luxury loft only to have ghetto music blasting?) horrid) Still can't figure out how the Chinese restaurant is there, how many people do you see eating in there? Really, this stretch will be going down - once again! Those storefronts have been empty for MONTHS! And, petty crime is on the upswing in this area.

I don't know what 14th between 6th and 7th has to do with a law firm, but 14th street is a really shitty block. 23rd is better for a thoroughfare. But 14th is so bad and it spills onto 15th Street as not such a clean block either.
