Discussion about
Can NYC even do proper construction of residential buildings? It's nothing but accidents, people dying, and endless delays. NYC needs to get its act together and become more efficient like Chicago, which has not had a single death from collapsing cranes last year. http://curbed.com/archives/2008/12/18/curbedwire_laurel_drops_the_curtain.php#reader_comments
Rufus the doctor called and said you didn't take your meds this morning.

Of course Chicago hasn't had a single death from collapsing cranes last year -- its residents have all been fatally shot, or moved to Texas. Who's left to be killed?
and Chicago has no construction projects to even need a crane.
In Chicago, they use the black people like the slaves in egypt. No cranes needed...
BTW, what is going to happen in Chicago now that its biggest industry - corruption - is on its way out?
It's sad that NYC has devolved into a construction warzone, where falling cranes kill innocent people.
I think it would be sad even if the falling cranes killed guilty people. A colleague in my office traces the rise in construction accidents in NYC to DOB's letting architects self-certify.

That's like letting Cracker Boy self-certify.
