http://curbed.com/archives/2008/12/22/aig_joins_the_team_at_one_bbp.php#more Mountains in the backyard? Lush green scenery? Yachts on crystal clear blue water? That looks more like L.A. or Vancouver, not filthy grimy Brooklyn. I guess these developers are so desperate to sell overpriced condos in shitty locations, that they are just going to make up drawings.
Where are there mountains? That is an accurate view of Staten Island's North Shore, which is very hilly. Where do you see yachts? I see sailboats.

Everyone in Chicago wants to be in New York, including you, rufus.

oldbuyers, NO one expect that part of Brooklyn to look like that in the near future. You're delusional if you think it's going to get cleaned up.
Also, what does ONE law firm hiring more people exactly prove?
Yes that is Staten Island, and it does in fact look like that. Geographically it's part of the continental shelf (New Jersey) and not the coastal plain (New York). Hence the hills.
No one wants to live in Chicago, rufus. Not even you, that's why you moved to Whiting, Indiana. Home of old steel plants and white trash.
The worst parts of Brooklyn are still nicer (and more expensive) than Chicago.
I love how Chicago thinks it has "waterfront". And beach.
Thats like going to the central park reservoir...

Hilarious! Yeah, they did not depict St. Tropez or Monaco now. :) doofus exaggerates too much. But then he does that much exaggeration about Chicago too.
