Some of the Glenwood buildings have pools too. Check out 10 Barclay Street.

This is not entirely relevant, but I heard there's a decent number of models and celebrities who live in 10 barclay. It supposedly caters to a pretty trendy and well-heeled clientele.

I think there are some in Battery Park City with pools.

If you're talking about a little more north or financial district, try 280 Park Ave South. Also, I think 60 East 8th (building on southwest corner of 8th and Broadway).

I live at 10 Barclay and we have a nice gym and pool. I'm also trying to rent out my unit as a lease assignment.

Thanks all. See, this is actually a helpful discussion for me and for others as opposed to too many back and forth arguments between renters and owners. new2ny, you should provide info on your lease.
Otherwise, please provide any additional thoughts. And do people have experience - how busy are their pools? Do they close at a certain hour? Are they occupied too often by kids? Do they keep them clean and free of PEE in the pool? Thanks

How much is the rent new2ny? Are you doing the lease assignment legitimately or behind Glenwood's back?

Liberty Terrace (380 Rector Place)in Battery Park City has a large pool with glass dome that opens in the summer. This is a condominum building but there are also rentals.

I have it listed on craigslist for $3,885.00(which is what I pay) under Tribeca. This is a legal assignment and this building is rent stabilized. It's about 1,100 sq.ft. and is a one bedroom, one full bath and one half-bath.

I need a building with a high quality gym, but not a post-college frat type building in Murray Hill. Also downtown preferred. What about Battery Park? Thanks
