I'm just curious. They are nice and evidently deserve luxury apartments. Why wouldn't they be anymore likely to save Manhattan RE than the doctors or martians?

Who needs to get a life? The guy who makes a comment or the guy who responds with 4 words twice in the same post?

Let me take a step back and try to be open minded. jgr, when you started this discussion, what was it that you intended your audience to make of your post, and can you provide some more support - it seems potentially like an interesting real estate topic. Thanks for inviting us to take a small piece of your good thoughts.

I have already established that CELEBRITY DOCTORS are going to save the market since Dr. Oz just bought a $2.5 million teardown in my section of Bergen County. So all the bitter renters looking for a steal are going to have to compete with celebrity doctors.

No, the ladies who lunch will be busy trying to save Madison Avenue retail. They won't have enough time to multi-task.
