Discussion about
I am considering moving to Bergen or Essex county from NYC. (I would like to get more than 1,200 sq/ft for $1 mil). Anyway, my wife works in Teaneck, but we our main concern is a town with a nice/walkable downtown - with easy access to Teaneck and the train to NYC. Any suggestions.

Try Fort Lee, Edgewater, Leonia, and Englewood.

Cliffside Park is also a good option. They are building a huge new retail complex along Anderson Avenue. ALthough I will tell you that there is not a lot to do in Bergen County on Sunday due to the Blue Laws. Good luck!
