The Irish were here in droves before Christmas-- shopping like crazy. I walked into Macy's in Herald Sq and felt like I was at the Brown Thomas on Grafton St in city centre Dublin. What will become of Macy's now?
The Irish were here in droves in 1860, too. Didn't get us out of the Civil War.
