Discussion about
Hi there, We are seriously considering to buy a townhouse in Nutley, New Jersey. Baby is on the way and wife loves to live in a large town house. My only concern is commute. The space we get compared to Manhattan apartments is enormous. However, bus to Port Authority and then walk/subway to midtown east makes me think twice...So is anyone out there living in Nutley or closeby and can advise..Thanks in advance.

Go and check how long the bus takes...Walk/subway should not be problem from Port Authority. Be careful, taxes in Nutley are very high.

Glen Ridge/Montclair offers easier commute. Mid-town direct trains and Hoboken trains are 25 to 45 minutes. Schools in Glen Ridge are number 5 in the state so your tax dollars actually buy something.
