Discussion about
Which Trump building is the best? Are they really all they're cracked up to be? Everyone please give your opinion and maybe critique specific listings in the buildings.

I wouldn't want to live in a building with "Trump" written over the entrance. Seems kinda gaudy and he is an egomaniac. And the combover is embarrassing...

That wind off the Hudson River is HORRIBLE! Especially with that long walk to the subway. brrrrrrrr..... The rental units are quite mediocre.

Just think what that wind off the Hudson would do to poor Donald's hair. Oy! I just do not care for Donald Trump & would never consider buying in one of his buildings.

I live in Trump Place Riverside. It doesn't have over-the-top amenities, which I like, because it keeps the price reasonable. Very lovely buildings and great staff. Yes, bitter wind in the winter which is also refreshingly cool in the summer. Very pet friendly and super easy access to beautiful Riverside Park.

What's the point of living in a Trump building? It's not as nice as other building. The amenities are not as nice as others too.

I lived in Trump Place for two and a half years. When they first opened, they were offering 4 months free rent on a two year lease. This made them very attractively priced. But I wouldn't rent/buy at market rates.

I recently looked at some units for sale at Trump World Tower and I must admit, I was a little disappointed with the quality of the kitchens. They are very generic, boring white cabinets, gray granite and GE stainless steel... you'd think at these prices they would have at least put a nicer kitchen, very boring. However, I liked EVERYTHING else. I would probably gut the kitchen and redo with Viking and Subzero. What do you guys think of the quality of the finishes there?

In addition to comment #12, Trump Place it is very quiet. It's like living in suburb with the convience of Manhanttan. Being the last blocks on the west side is great because the view will stay. 5-7 mins walk to subway, 7-10 mins walk to Fairway and banks.
