Discussion about
I'm trying to sell a co-op and I'd like to get my information on StreetEasy. Does anyone know what my options are in terms of listing sites that get indexed by StreetEasy? So far I'm just listing on Craigslist. Thanks.

My understanding is that StreetEasy will not list any FSBO ads. I think this site is sponsored by the real estate companies. I tried to list my FSBO website a little while ago but was turned down. I guess they won't even take my money to place an ad. It's funny, I thought my money was as good as anybody else's but I guess not.

That's interesting. It is quite unfortunate that Streeteasy is unwilling to FSBO money. Will they sell you a banner ad?

Good question, somehow, I doubt it. Is there an Admin reading? How much for a banner ad? What are the terms?

Why don't you just contact them directly rather than trying to get answers via the discussion board?

No _ they currently don't take fsbo listings nor do they allow fsbo companies/websites to advertise banner ads. Just tried last week and was told that from Alexa of SE

One other place you can list is www.nbpny.com.
Really good new site/service. I have listed on them and have had some good responses.
I am selling FSBO and I have an open house this Sunday.

I did contact them directly yesterday around 5, but I thought with the long weekend that I might get an answer here faster.
That's a drag that they don't take FSBO listings. I love this site and used it to come up with my asking price--well below any of the comps. I'd love to have my place show up when people are looking at those places, but I'm not willing to fork over a commission just to have my place show up here.

Yep, this means that we should continue to support the New York Times, the only place that has a wide reach and will take FSBO ads. I really don't know how many buyers know about StreetEasy, I have not had a single person mention this site. With all of the backbiting and nasty comments, sometimes I wonder if it would be worth it to list here anyway.
