any thoughts or information? just noticed two large drops on very high priced apartments. still way out of my range but curious about this building...pricing seems way, way off.

Just going by the data, it looks like the folks who bought the building a year ago may have done a bit of subtle warehousing in anticipation of a condo conversion. The rent roll is probably weak, and the climate for a conversion couldn't be worse. I don't know where this one is headed, but the European bankers who funded the purchase are not a happy bunch these days. You might wind up sending your rent check to Mainz, by way of a local managing agent.

That said, the owners' anguish may represent an opportunity for a savvy renter. Just do your homework and negotiate aggressively.

As for the building, I don't think I've ever been inside. I've passed it a million times on the way to River Run Playground. The entrance isn't exactly inviting.
