Discussion about 350 West 14th Street #6B
Wow, is this for real?! Balcony views in the Meatpacking. Hope this one is for real. Been searching and searching.
barf
not crazy about the area but you'll definitely be able to get one-two months free rent.
14th street?!? you are excited about living on friggin 14th street. wow.

Even with 2 months free rent, the effective rent is still WAY too high. Especially for that area. It's a dump, and it's scary to walk around late at night.
I don't like this poorly built condo either and think $2600 would be more in the ballpark and of course this is the owner who started the post. But 9th ave and 14th street is not scary at night and never was.
9th Ave and 14th doesn't seem scary to me now, and I even like the location, but it WAS fairly frightening in the not so distant past.
Overpriced nonetheless.
AR you must be from a small town :) my kids went to West village Nursery school in the early/mid eighties, and my wife(ex) went there in the 60's-not scary. I lived on 6th street and ave.c in 1981=Scary.
Methinks (mehopes!) our pal huddoh is being sarcastic.
Cannot imagine anyone wanting to live on noisy, grungy 14th St and 9th. Blech. Unit way overpriced. Balcony? Who needs it in such a loud, unattractive location?
huddoh=Owner Those units have always been difficult to rent I think $2500 is the number, it's just a weird little building.
Burkhardt, I lived on 46th between 9th and 10th in the mid-1980s. Deserted is a different kind of scary.
Offer $2200 and see what he says.
$2500 sounds about right... about two years ago. It has no doorman. The finishes are crap (check out that bathroom!). And you have to put up with all of the B&T traffic on weekends. I think Buddoh would be lucky to get $2250 for this.
I like this area, hip, lively, great restaurants, Chelsea Market, subway on 7th.
huddoh is either being sarcastic or a shill. at first i thought surely it's sarcasm, but now, given the reticence, i'm leaning towards shill...
dwell, it's great for tourists indulging in their Sex and the City fantasies.
