No one showed up to a recent open house at the Park South condominium at 2155 Daly Avenue, between East 181st Street and Bronx Park South, in the Bronx. Jillian Faulls, an independent broker who represents the building, said she has sent out 1,500 promotional postcards and 3,000 e-mail messages advertising the building since November. Eight of the 12 units have sold since sales started in April, and three offers were received for the remaining four units, but the bids were too low to be accepted, Faulls said. Prices range from $245,000 for a two-bedroom unit to $550,000 for a three-bedroom penthouse. [less]
That's amazing news nyc10022, thanks for posting. I had to work hard, but found something almost as interesting as your post:

It's silly, no, when a rocket ship explodes and everybody still wants to fly.
Whatever it takes to make you feel better about the crash...
nyc10022 is trying to add to the discussion while juiceman is showing what an unkind person he/she is.
If he does it enough, Manhattan RE will double tomorrow.
nyc10022: "Whatever it takes to make you feel better about the crash..."
LOL! That is hysterical. This from the guy that posts any and every single bit of negative news, whether it impacts NYC at all. If there's a story on the internet about a company laying off people in Terre Haute, Indiana you will post it. You are the most negative person in the world.
A junior high school psychology student would have no problem attributing your constant negativity on your complete and overall dissatisfaction with your life. No way in hell would any stable, even semi-happy man need to be so negative. I haven't had as many negative thoughts in a month as you post in 1 day.
You are a complete joke. Do you find yourself and George Costanza having the same thoughts?
You are a total disgrace.
julia, i suggest you spend your time on monster.com and careerbuilder.com, NOT streeteasy if you have any sort of self respect for yourself.
BTW, did you even read your own postings? I read the article this AM in the NY Times. 67% of the building is sold and the building is a tester to see if there is a demand in the market. It is not in the best neighborhood in the Bx. And it said the following day, 5 people showed up.
The headline was a teaser...you know, draws you in by a profound statement but doesn't hold substance to hold it up. And you fell for it, nyc10022. Sucker.
oldbuyers, perhaps you should fine a better use for your frustrations than clogging up a message board. Maybe you should use the time to become a little more knowledgable about real estate, you have made numerous mistakes on the topic.
I get that you are frustrated, and in quite a bit of denial, but its time you actually learned what was going on in the world.
nyc10022. and what business are you in that you spend 50% of your time on a real estate website?
that's truly pathetic.
NOW, I'll take a medium coffe, 2 Equals. Oh, and a quickpick for tonight's lottery.
Truth hurts, doesn't it, slackey? I'm sorry to break it to you, but seeing as how you have no friends, someone has to tell you.
nyc10022: DO YOU OWN REAL ESTATE?
do you have any plans on ever buying?
if NO, why are you here.
FYI, I own a rental building in Manhattan for 15 years now, so I am not frustrated by anything.
And my primary residence was bought and paid for 6 years ago. Thank you for your attempt.
How about posting another irrelevant article and acting like you're being innovative.
Where's my coffee?
Wow, you are so frustrated with yourself that now you have to resort to personal insults on a message board.
WOW, do I feel sorry for you....
Funny, I just found this from you (about someone else)... from yesterday...
"what's even more pathetic is that 2 people took time out of their lives to comment on an apartment they have no intention of buying or even considering. Are you lives that boring?"
There are few things more hypocritical than someone following others around and spending an AWFUL lot of time to tell THEM how much time they waste...
I'm sorry you are so frustrated with the market, but there are better ways to deal with it than lashing out. Consider a shrink.
but you cannot answer the questions, can you?
You should not feel sorry for me. I am very happy. I look at a complete loser like you who has to try and feel better about himself by posting negativity about other people's situations all day long and still you feel empty. Well, try something else. Why don't you try to volunteer at a soup kitchen and help those that are down on their luck instead of spreading your doom and gloom.
I would have thought you would realize that by now it's not working, you still don't feel good about yourself, so try something else.
Just b/c you got caught trying to post a typical negative article that was really negative, don't get frustrated. It's not the first time you've been wrong and it definetly won't be the last. Nice try though.
You spend HOURS and HOURS each and everyday on this website and yet you have zero vested interest in real estate. Amazing! That is beyond pathetic. They are doing great things with medication these days. Check it out.
beat your wife again old man...wow 6 story walk-up... no wonder u feel like kicking in ur wife's head all the time...
so you bgt @ $200psf.... well enjoy the ride right back....and when ur tenants ask u for a reduction in rent... think of me :)
where'd your net worth go today?
Exactly! That is you. You are the pathetic one.
You have zero interest in buying real estate. You sit on the sidelines, just as I'm sure you would have IF you tried playing sports. Yet, you waste your own time posting about it.
You are the pathetic one.
you are now on ignore so that my streeteasy experience can be more enjoyable.

wow, how did I get on the old fart's ignore list but w67th didn't? maybe he likes recognition of his spousal abuse.
> you are now on ignore so that my streeteasy experience can be more enjoyable.
ROTFL... What an fing hypocrite!
The loser follows me around commenting... and then says he's ignoring me.
Clearly this guy has nothing better to do with his time. I'm sorry he's bitter, but I'm not making up any news.. .the world is what it is...
> nyc10022, I thought you would get a kick out of the sarcasm. Guess not.
Wit is funny... sarcasm isn't...
Actually it's his Igore list. That's OK, can't berate the old one for trying, I'm sure the synapses aren't firing too well these days. Sounds like he's about to implode any second now. Be sure you check with the doctor before taking that viagra.
lol.
And they said its the renters who are bitter these days...
;-)

"Wit is funny... sarcasm isn't..."

"but Juiceman i guess i was too harsh sorry."
harsh? watching grass grow is harsh? OMG
dwell, excellent! Now I have two sites to look at instead of reading nyc10022's posts!
