It's a sign of the times for real estate in the city. No one showed up to a recent open house at the Park South condominium at 2155 Daly Avenue, between East 181st Street and Bronx Park South, in the Bronx. Jillian Faulls, an independent broker who represents the building, said she has sent out 1,500 promotional postcards and 3,000 e-mail messages advertising the building since November. Eight of the 12 units have sold since sales started in April, and three offers were received for the remaining four units, but the bids were too low to be accepted, Faulls said. Prices range from $245,000 for a two-bedroom unit to $550,000 for a three-bedroom penthouse.

A junior high school psychology student would have no problem attributing your constant negativity on your complete and overall dissatisfaction with your life. BTW, did you even read your own postings? I read the article this AM in the NY Times. 67% of the building is sold and the building is a tester to see if there is a demand in the market. It is not in the best neighborhood in the Bx. And it said the following day, 5 people showed up.
The headline was a teaser...you know, draws you in by a profound statement but doesn't hold substance to hold it up. And you fell for it, nyc10022. Sucker.

oldbuyers, perhaps you should fine a better use for your frustrations than clogging up a message board. Maybe you should use the time to become a little more knowledgable about real estate, you have made numerous mistakes on the topic.
I get that you are frustrated, and in quite a bit of denial, but its time you actually learned what was going on in the world.

I look at a complete loser like you who has to try and feel better about himself by posting negativity about other people's situations all day long and still you feel empty. Well, try something else. Why don't you try to volunteer at a soup kitchen and help those that are down on their luck instead of spreading your doom and gloom.
I would have thought you would realize that by now it's not working, you still don't feel good about yourself, so try something else.
