Appt in a BK Building ?

Say I buy a Condo / Coop in a Building. Say Mnt / CC is $100. Say in three month building owner goes BK... :( I heard this gets ugly fast... but, please, can someone explain exactly what and how it gets ugly, and what steps one can take to mitigate those risks. Thanks!!!

Choose to rent in a building you like, that is having trouble selling. You will be among the first to hear of discounted prices when the mortgage holder is in a position to liquidate.
