What is the word on this development? Do renters like it? How do they like the area (especially after dark, grocery stores, cab accessibility, etc). Thanks!

very elegant rental building. I love the finishes, the staff is fantastic, very helpful. As per the area, I think that he best thing is to experience it for yourself, personally I like it, the architecture in the area is very romantic, or so it feels that way.

I looked at a unit here. Didn't like the building; it was bland, mediocre location, etc. I'm not a big fan of glenwood buildings, except the grand tier.

yes, well the grand tier is their best. I guess you have to judge relative to what...and in that sense, perhaps 10 liberty it is not the top rental building in Manhattan :) but it is not the worst

If I'm not mistaken, grand tier is the most exclusive rental building in Manhattan. Big fan of the location, although the exterior is quite dull.

Thank you. I saw a 2br on a high floor listed for 4,000/month (with a free months rent) and thought it was an exceptional deal. The apartment has been rented (I'm looking for March 1) and hope to find something in that range in the next few weeks. Overall, my experience with Glenwood has been extremely positive.

great. good luck! wonderful to hear that you have had a positive experience with them. From an agent's point of view, they are always helpful and respectful and their apartments, not too bad :)

I've been living at 10 Liberty for past 2 years. Love this building. Amazing staff and a great apartment. The area is changing all the time and while there's not a lot of night life on the weekends there are some good restaurants on Stone Street and some in South Street Seaport area. Cabs are always easy to get, there are three grocery stores within a two/three block radius. (Cristedes is half a block down on Liberty). All the trains are there, gyms, wine store, nail salons, etc. I work in Jersey City so its ultra convenient by boat and PATH. Highly recommend area and buidling.
