Discussion about
any thoughts on finding a NICE 800+ sq ft 1 bdrm upper westside for 3k?
how far up are you willing to go?
if you're willing to be near very near the 96th St express subway station and riverside park, you can get a deal at this building:

850 sqft for 2800 asking, newly renovated
your welcome.
wouldn't want to be above 86th... basically looking for a prime location.. prime apt..
why don't you do a rental search including price and square footage on streeteasy?
In that case, this building is the ultimate in prime locations for the UWS--W 67th St park block near lincoln center. The building is over 20 years old, so the apartment may not be "prime" condition, and it is listed as 756 sq ft, but bear in mind those are honest 1980s measurements--its a large one bedroom:

(it's not hard to use Streeteasy's search functions)
i was just looking at this apt ... also one on west end ave.. thanks
WEA? funny, I never thought of Lincoln Towers as prime, compared to newly renovated park block prewar 2 blocks from an express train.
it wasn't in lincoln towers
okay, then the WEA place is not on Streeteasy, my apologies. There are newer spaces available on Riverside Blvd, but I don't think of that area as prime because it's such a hike to retail and subway. If you don't take mass transit, you might consider those.
you want prewar or what? all that cookie cutter stuff makes me sick....
bb10024- there are tons of 1 beds below W86th for under $3K.
