Discussion about
When he should be taking victory laps for the market collapse he's been predicting forever, why the radio silence from Steve? While others come and go, Steve has been a streeteasy stalwart and constant. Is everyone sure he's okay?

Perhaps Rufus kidnapped him and has him in Chicago? I too noticed his absence. I hope you are ok Steve.

A quick check on myspace shows that he logged in yesterday. Don't know if that was from Chicago, though.

I read a thread last night where the voices sounded familiar but the names were all new. Maybe I need a new identity, as well?

Steve, Steve, where ARE you? Actually lots of folks have gone missing. Hmmm .........

"When he should be taking victory laps for the market collapse he's been predicting forever"

steve did not predict the market collapse, far from it actually. What he did predict was the return of equilibrium to Manhattan real estate. Right now the economic collaspe is assisting in the Manhattan real estate slowdown, but only time will tell if steve (and others) are correct that the Manhattan real estate is doomed.

25% decline / 75% drop in sales in a matter of months.... I think we can officially say the Manhattan RE collapse is in.

I almost hate to ask but where are you getting 25%? Also, you should stop confusing economic collaspe with a real estate collaspe. You realize they are different right?
