Maybe so, but I think there's something wrong with StreetEasy. A significant number of my saved sales just became unavailable too. This looks more like some kind of computer snafu than a mass de-listing of apartments.

Thank you. I did contact my broker. He is looking into it. There seems to be a problem because suddenly many apartments that are on the market state that that they are "No Longer Available."

ALL the apartments that have gone "No Longer Available" are Prudential Douglas Elliman listings... I think they are having problems with their website and maybe that is affecting SE

Hi all, We are incredibly sorry about this, and restoring the correct status of the affected listings right now. Should be finished up very shortly. Please give us a shout if things don't look back to normal this afternoon.

though it's interesting that elliman accounts for 2000 of the 10,000 manhattan listings. concurrent with the glitch, total inventory dropped from 10100 to 8100 as all the elliman listings came off. this sort of makes me wonder how comprehensive street easy really is. i bet 85%+ of their listings are the top 6 or 7 brokers. what about FSBO and the smaller brokers??

streeteasy!...did u guys fire stevejhx? where is that sh-t stirrer? Did he implode your servers? Was he promoted out of the message board sh-t stirrer department? Was he replaced by nyc11002 that nice girl who doesn't write as much and gets no responses so she is easier on your equipment? I'm incredibly curious!

We are very conscious of small brokerages and actively reach out to them in order to make sure our database is as comprehensive as possible. StreetEasy currently includes over 1000 small brokerages along with Independent brokers who may only have one listing. The top brokerages in Manhattan maintain a significant share of the market, which is noticeable when we have a glitch like this.

streeteasy, thanks for the post. good to hear that you guys reach out to small brokerages as well. one question i had is whether FSBO or other people can post apartments onto this website or if you guys do it all yourselves via a webcrawler? i have a friend who is doing a FSBO and would love to get onto the site and would be willing to pay a listing fee.

While we're at it, my two open houses (posted on OLR around noon) aren't on streeteasy yet, and they're not in the Times either . ..is this an OLR glitch?

Yes, good thing SteveF will be to save us from reality by being here day in and day out, always wrong about Real Estate...

Streeteasy - Thanks so much for the response, and correcting the status of the listing.
If the Pricing History of the listing could somehow be corrected as well, that would be terrific, if not, no worries.
Again, many, many thanks. This is stating the obvious, but Streeteasy is an absolutely phenomenal website and resource. All the best.
