Discussion about
There's certainly a lot of new development going on over there, as well as some good deals on existing property. What are people's impressions of buying and living in JC? It seems to be attracting a lot of Manhattan creative types. As a native New Yorker living in Astoria, I'm hesitant to consider a move to Jersey, but I'm curious how it compares to up to up and coming neighborhoods here, like LIC.

I say no to Jersey City, the state of New Jersey is so miserable I refuse to even fly out of Newark.

Definitely cheaper than LIC, and caters to a different type of buyer (namely those looking for most bang for your buck).
