I'm not sure how much the developers borrowed - bought for 29m, but can't tell from ACRIS how much they borrowed. They've spent at least 5m on renovations. There is some Goldman Sachs involvement. They've closed on 2 units so far for about 14m total.

A nothing-special building to begin with, now with awkward layouts, lots of little rooms, and tarted-up kitchens and baths. With all the large-apartment inventory out there, buy something reasonable and well-planned, then do your own granite-bordello renovation.

Yes, it was never a building of large apts, so the proportions can be off. On the other hand, it's not in as much trouble as say the Apthorp because even at reduced prices, the sponsor might just take a small loss.
