Discussion about
Where does one get rental applications &, more importantly, check out potential tenants' credit & criminal history? I know this is so important but how does the small landlord do it? Thanx in advance for your help.

why not hire a realtor? They don't cost you anything.

If you google applications, its easy, and its also easy to get somoen's credit report and even credit score online, google that. You just need some info from them.

ANd realtors do cost, last time I checked. A small landlord will likely have to pay the fee in this market.

Also try 1800ussearch.com (I think I got it right) but again you have to pay for a complete search and get info from the tenant.

There are landlord associations online that have all of the info you need.

A (sales) realtor is sending me a rental app &, yes, there are numerous sites for checking someone out but surely some are better than others. Nobody has any info on all this? :(
