Good Article In NY Post Today on The UES

I just finished reading that article, I had no idea there was so much new development going up on UES! I like the Lucida!

Anyone have a copy of the article? This can really be helpful.

I think this could only be good for prices in the area. The UES can easily handle an additional 500 apartmants and the new stores will make it even a more desireable place to live.

The article deals entirely with the area east of Lexington Avenue, which is NOT the Upper East Side . . . it's merely Yorkville. And if the mommies and daddies of all those new apartments think all their kids are going to squeeze into already maxed-out PS 6, they're completely delusional. The catchment boundaries will be redrawn as necessary.

Just the Lucida and Maison East in that article are ps6. The others are mostly in 290 which is also a great school.
Its funny how you think any area that is more east than where you are is not considered Upper East. Sorry I grouped you in with us Yorkville common folk.

Great article; I heard rumblings a while back that Whole Foods might be going in somewhere on E 86th. Would be great for the nabe. Any ideas?
