Hi, I am subletting my co-op and need to prepare a lease for the tenants. I have a pdf file of a lease but would like to make some changes and cannot edit the file. Does anyone have a word file of a standard lease they would be willing to share or no where to obtain one?

Any additional changes you want to make, strike out the relevant places on hard copy and refer to a new rider that you create yourself with all the changes you need.

Realize that any terms you change ("dicker") must be carefully worded, because any later dispute as to their meaning will be construed (interpreted) against the party who made the change (that would be you).
