I was curious what you guys think is a fair rent for a newer 1 bedroom apt? It seems to vary greatley or buying a condo there in general are prices still too high?

Are those the landleased condos where you don't even enjoy the appreciation of the land value, plus you have all the usual potential problems as the lease date ends?

Land lease expires in 60 years....that seems pretty long time maybe im wrong dont really know much ablot land leased condos or the area but they seemd very nice bit pricy ay $600 sqf

Don't do it. Horrible restaurants, bars. Empty parks. Like a 1970s urban experiment gone wrong. Have 2 co-workers that live over there & its terrible. You'll spend all your time on that cable car trying to get out of there.

The good news is that you'll have all of Queens' restaurants and shopping at your disposal on your way to and fro Manhattan, because your taxi has to pass through Queens to get there.
