Why on earth if you do indeed have a broker representing you, are you contacting buildings directly yourself? If your broker is not doing the work, why would he/she get paid? It makes no sense.
In Manhattan, the system is not MLS and only brokers have access to certain databases that provide all the necessary information.
If you are contacting the buildings directly, and if you are not informing your own broker, then that is completely disrespectful to your broker and if your broker is aware of your actions, then she is not doing her job representing you.
