Probably realized what HPS would do to the value of his home. Not to mention the noise from the trains idling from 9 to 6

@sohfly: Actually, I am re-selling it because, I am going in contract for 1 bed room in the same building on the same side (south west). Trains didn't bother me. It just that, a new person is coming in my life and having 2 bed is going a bit of my affordability. Thanks for your comment anyway.

Hasn't sold at $790,000... so raise the price! Someone buy it NOW or it will be higher next month!

went by there on a weekday, midday. that train noise is very noticeable. if wrking full time 9-5 away from the building like myself, it wont bother you all that much as the OP mentioned, but im thinking about resale when I make this type of purchase and it will certainly bother a prospective buyer. I entertained a north facing unit but untimaltely walked away from the building completely. I don't think build quality as good as others in the area.. I saw paint bubbles above the rainfall shower head of a unit that was lived in for only a few months. Also, the wall base moldings are cheap looking, just painted white rectangular slabs. Although these are minor items, it just speaks to overall build quality that will only surface down the road. For the right price though, you should be able to overlook these flaws and the OP should have no problems selling the unit.

@NYCnewbie: By the way, I see your negative comments everywhere for every buildings. What's your intention? Seems like you got a job to put negative comments on streeteasy. I know you are even using different ids to put those comments everywhere.

i guess you overlooked the positive comments i've made on buildings, including yours. theres positives and negatives to most units/buidlings. although i can understand your defensive stance as a seller and your focus on the negative comments, im not about to repost my positive comments.

Please point out what part of the earlier comment on the building I am wrong about? Disagreeing with my opinion does not make my statement false.

you know i am using different IDs? that would mean 2 things.. i have an agenda and i have the time to make the effort. both wrong and its funny to me b/c i am a fan of the neighborhood but still judge fairly by pointing out the good with the bad. i'ved lived in the hood for 3 yrs and i'm actually about to go into contract in the hood.
